Jones Jones LLC is pleased to congratulate New Jersey Partner Jackie Mancino and her team for successfully settling 14 cases, which had over $1M in dispute costs.
The 14 cases involved medical provider claims filed by New Jersey doctors for the treatment of patients with claims in New York. Due to a lack of sufficient ties to New Jersey, the court was unable to establish jurisdiction.
Mancino and her team used their negotiation skills to ensure the claims were reviewed by a New Jersey certified medical coder to mitigate loss and ensure accuracy. After review, the team’s efforts yielded a significantly reduced cost of $350,000, 33% less than the initial amount sought.
